India Under-19 Team To Have Full Bench Strength For Bangladesh Clash After Players Recover From Covid-19

The India Under-19 team received a huge boost ahead of their quarterfinal clash against Bangladesh in the U-19 World Cup that is taking place in the West Indies.
Several players tested positive and were unavailable for selection in the last two group stage matches. Fortunately, all the players have recovered since and are now allowed to participate in the quarterfinal clash.
“Yes, all the players have recovered. They will join the team today and will be available for selection for the last-eight clash tomorrow,” a source from the BCCI was quoted as saying to TOI on Friday.

Six players including the captain, Yash Dhull tested positive last week and were told to isolate themselves in Trinidad. India barely managed to pick a playing XI against Ireland, which was their penultimate game in the group stage.
Soon after the news of the outbreak, the BCCI had flown in four players as a backup just in case the team isn’t available to field a playing XI at all. As things go, they are still available for the squad and can be chosen if necessary.

India Under-19 squad for the World Cup:
Yash Dhull (C), Harnoor Singh, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, SK Rasheed (VC), Nishant Sindhu, Siddarth Yadav, Aneeshwar Gautam, Dinesh Bana, Aaradhya Yadav, Raj Angad Bawa, Manav Parakh, Kaushal Tambe, RS Hangargekar, Vasu Vats, Vicky Ostwal, Ravikumar, Garv Sangwan.
