Former India captain and current Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President, Sourav Ganguly heaps rich praises for Rishabh Pant after the youngster bailed his team out of a precarious situation en route striking his third Test hundred in the ongoing Test match against England in Ahmedabad.

In reply to England’s first innings total of 205, the hosts found themselves reeling at 80/4 when Rishabh Pant walked in. Pant, judging the situation, played cautiously to bring up his half-century in 82 balls.

An astonished Sourav Ganguly took to Twitter to lavish praise on the 23-year-old for his marvellous batting display in Ahmedabad.

Ganguly hailed Pant to become one of the greats of the game in all the three formats in the coming years – his brilliant show with the bat in the last couple of Test series has forced the selectors to call him back for the upcoming T20 series against England after being dropped from the limited-overs side last year.
