Not many players would be able to have the same privilege to do so and it is always a special moment for any player to see his brother’s growth in international cricket.
The brothers from Rajasthan are still relatively young and have a long way to go in their international careers. Deepak Chahar, the elder brother was impressive in the second ODI with both bat and ball and was adjudged the man of the match for his all-around performance that won the game for India. The management wanted to try out new players and Chahar had to make way having already performed really well.

Rahul Chahar’s Impressive Debut Creates Dilemma Over Leg-Spin Options
At the moment, India will be very lucky to have two world-class leg-spin options in Rahul Chahar and Yuzvendra Chahal. The latter being the senior among the two has recently found form against Sri Lanka and he looks well on the track for a spot in the Indian team in the T20 Worldcup. However, with Rahul Chahar bowling so well, India might face a big dilemma of picking just one leg spinner for the T20 Worldcup squad.
Rahul Chahar returned with figures of 3 for 54 in the 10 overs on his debut and got rid of the main wicket, Avishka Fernando, despite India losing the game.
