Indian Fast Bowler Shardul Thakur And His Fiancee Mittali Parulkar Are Set To Marry In February - Reports

One of India’s most talented cricketers, Shardul Thakur is in the headlines, and this time not because of cricket and all, but because of his marriage to his longtime girlfriend, Mittali Parulkar. According to reports, the couple, who got engaged last year, will marry next year on February 27.

They got engaged in an intimate ceremony at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) facility in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) on 29th November 2021. The ceremony was performed in the presence of some family members and relatives who came to bless the newlyweds. Many cricketers congratulated the couple for their happy and wonderful life through their official social media handles.

Shardul Thakur’s Schedule Is Packed – Mittali Parulkar

According to the Hindustan Times, the news was confirmed by the bride-to-be. Mittali Parulkar, who is the founder of a baking startup, shared that the pre-wedding celebrations will begin on February 25. The wedding will be held on the outskirts of Mumbai, in Karjat, with family and friends.

“I have butterflies in my stomach. His schedule is packed; he is playing until February 24 and will only be able to join by February 25. So, I have taken charge. We are expecting almost 200 to 250 guests at the wedding; it’s going to be too hectic,” According to the Hindustan Times, Parulkar says.

“Initially, we wanted to have a destination wedding in Goa, but given the logistics and so many people involved, it would have been extremely difficult,” she added.

We Are Yet To Lock In The Final Look – Mittali Parulkar

Furthermore, the bride-to-be specified that the wedding would be held in Maharashtrian style. Parulkar went on to say that she would curate and bake her wedding cake.

“I’m currently finalising the designers. I’m certain that I will wear a nauvari saree for the main ceremony; for the rest, we are figuring it out. We are yet to lock in the final look,” she says about their looks.
