Indian Players Not Allowed To Play Any Other Cricket League Abroad - Rajeev Shukla

BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla said that the board doesn’t allow any Indian players to play in a cricket league abroad.
The statement was made following rumors that former Indian cricketer and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain, MS Dhoni, is set to mentor Johannesuburg Super Kings, a franchise in the CSA T20 league owned by the CSK owners.

“We do not provide our players to any other cricket league abroad. We have a straight policy regarding this. Our Indian Premier League is itself a huge league and we cannot allow any of our players to attach themselves to any foreign league in any manner,” Shukla told ANI.
Lance Klusener projects CSA T20 League to unearth new talent like IPL
Meanwhile, former South African cricketer Lance Klusener said that CSA’s new T20 league will be able to discover new talent in the domestic circuit of South Africa.
“IPL has been a great environment as it has given the opportunity for younger players to rub shoulders with international players and coaches from across the world. Much like IPL that has discovered so many new talents — South Africa too will be able to create new talent with the CSA T20 League,” Klusener told Times of India.

“T20 cricket is rocketing, isn’t it? With a lot of T20 leagues coming up, I definitely do see FTPs and especially 50-over cricket coming under pressure. These T20 competitions are bringing in new talent and money which is good for everybody,” he added.
The league will start in January 2023 and will be replacing the Australia series that was scheduled to be played.
