In his autobiography, “Sultan: A Memoir,” Wasim Akram made some contentious allegations concerning former Pakistan captain and colleague Saleem Malik. “He would take advantage of my youth. He was unpleasant, self-centered, and treated me as if I were a servant. He requested that I massage him and that I clean his clothes and boots “read a passage from the biography “I was irritated when Ramiz, Tahir, Mohsin, and Shoaib Mohammad, three of the younger squad members, asked me to nightclubs.”
“I don’t want to comment on it”: Saleem Malik
Malik, who represented the national team from 1992 to 1995, responded to the former pacer, saying that if he were selfish,’ he would never have given Akram a chance to bowl.
“I wanted to ask him what he thought about his comments and why he wrote them. We used to go on tours to Pakistan, and there were laundry machines there. He never had to use their hands,” he explained to 24 News.
“It appears that he did it for publicity, till I don’t talk to him or read his book.” I don’t want to say anything about it. We’re colleagues who had a lovely time together. So I don’t want to stir up any controversy.”

“If I was selfish, how did he play his first match under me?” “So why would I let him bowl?” he wondered.
“He’s demeaning himself by talking about clothes and massage. I don’t know what he meant until I talk to him,” he continued.
Seven out of 12 Test matches and 21 of 34 ODIs were won by Pakistan under Malik’s captaincy. In 1982, Malik played his first Test against Sri Lanka. He became the second-youngest player to ever hit a century on his Test debut with an undefeated knock of 100 in the second innings.
