While the 27-year-old Australian right-arm pacer Mark Steketee is growing up as a dependable bowler, some of the IPL franchises can put a good bid for him in the IPL 2021 auction.

The uncapped right-arm fast medium Mark Steketee is one of the consistent pacers in the Big Bash League 2020/21. Playing for Brisbane Heat, he has got 24 wickets in 15 matches, including one four-wicket haul.

Not only in T20 cricket, Steketee is impressive in every format of the Australian domestic cricket. Recently, he has been named in the Australian full-member Test squad for the upcoming South Africa tour. Due to these reasons, the IPL franchises may become serious on him in the forthcoming IPL 2021 auction.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be a busy franchise in the IPL 2021 auction as they have 11 slots available, including 3 overseas cricketers. Apart from Australian pacer Kane Richardson and pace-bowling all-rounder Daniel Sams, RCB currently have the Indian pacers Navdeep Saini and Mohammed Siraj along with the pace-bowling all-rounder Harshal Patel.

While RCB need to add some more quality pacers, they can go for Australian pacer Mark Steketee in the forthcoming IPL 2021 auction.

Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will be another busy franchise in the IPL 2021 auction as they can fill up five overseas slots out of their nine available slots. While KXIP have no all-rounders, they have the five pacers, including one overseas pacer English Chris Jordan.

While Mark Steketee is good with the new balls, he can be a good opening bowling partner with the Indian pacer Mohammed Shami for the KXIP.

SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH)

In the IPL 2021 auction, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be a non-busy franchise as they have only 3 spots available, including one overseas cricketer spot. While it is the big question that whom SRH can consider for the remaining available overseas slot, an overseas pacer may be a good option while they have currently zero overseas pacers (excluding pace-bowling all-rounders Mitchell Marsh and Jason Holder).

So, Australian cricketer Mark Steketee can be a good option for the SRH side.
