The 26-year-old uncapped Australian cricketer Jake Weatherald can get big demand in the IPL 2021 auction, majorly due to his performances in the Big Bash League 2020/21.

In the Big Bash League 2020/21, Adelaide Strikers’ cricketer Jake Weatherald scored 433 runs in 15 matches (average 36.08; strike-rate 141.04), including three half-centuries. Not only as an opener, he also played as a middle-order batsman in this BBL season, where he once played the knock of 51 runs off 25 balls. However, he is a genuine top-order batsman.

Apart from BBL, Jake Weatherald hasn’t played any other T20 leagues. But, he is now a consistent performer in the BBL. So, in the IPL 2021 auction, at least some franchises can target him to add in their squad.
