IPL 2021: Complete List Of Players Released And Retained By Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Chennai Super Kings [CSK] have revealed their list of retention players ahead of the 2021 mini IPL auction.

The three-time IPL champions have retained veteran middle-order batsman Suresh Raina ahead of the 2021 edition.

Raina, who has been one of the bedrock of the Chennai Super Kings over the years, pulled out of the 2020 edition citing personal reasons.

Since then, speculations have galore on Raina’s future with the franchise, which the latest announcement has put to rest.

The likes of Kedar Jadhav, Murali Vijay, Piyush Chawla, all of whom had an abysmal 2020 season, have all been released.

Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has also parted ways with the franchise in a Twitter post on Wednesday, while swashbuckling opener Shane Watson has already announced his retirement from all cricket. Monu Singh has also been released from their squad.
