In this article, we enlist the complete schedule of the Delhi Capitals (DC) for IPL 2021. IPL 2021 dates have arrived and the tournament will kickstart on April 9, 2021, with the first match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. All the matches of the tournament will be held at six venues. The playoffs and final will be played at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Initial games will be played under closed doors but a decision to allow spectators inside the stadium will be taken later. Delhi Capitals, the runner-up of IPL 2020, will play their first match against Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 10, 2021.

Ahead of IPL 2021 auction, DC released 6 players out of the squad. Alex Carey, Keemo Paul, Tushar Deshpande, Sandeep Lamichhane, Mohit Sharma, and Jason Roy are the six players whom Delhi Capitals released. The franchisee also chose to retain 19 players in the squad.

Delhi Capitals Complete Schedule For IPL 2021

Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Amit Mishra, Avesh Khan, Axar Patel, Harshal Patel, Ishant Sharma, Kagiso Rabada, Prithvi Shaw, R Ashwin, Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan, Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Lalit Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Daniel Sams, Pravin Dubey, and Chris Woakes were the players whom the franchisee retained for IPL 2021.

During IPL 2021 auction, DC bought 8 players. Delhi Capitals’ biggest buy was Tom Curran for Rs. 5.25 crore. Steve Smith was bought at Rs. 2.2 crore. Sam Billings was picked up for Rs. 2 crores while Umesh Yadav was bought for Rs. 1 crore. Ripal Patel, Vishnu Vinod, Lukman Meriwala, and M Siddharth were bought for Rs. 20 lakh each.
