Mumbai Indians’ wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock has said that he feels very safe living in the bubble in India during IPL 2021. Quinton de Kock’s opinion about the IPL bubble differs a lot from Adam Zampa, who had earlier called the IPL 2021 bubble as most vulnerable.

Zampa had also said that IPL 2021 should have been conducted in UAE like last year. RCB spinner Adam Zampa recently left the tournament midway and returned to Australia citing personal reasons.

However, Quinton de Kock has said that he feels very safe inside the bubble and it is quite easy. Kock smashed a match-winning knock of 70 runs for Mumbai Indians in the match against Rajasthan Royals.

Mumbai Indians successfully chased down the 172-run target in 18.3 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. De Kock was adjudged player of the match for his unbeaten knock in the game.

We Feel Very Safe In IPL Bubbles: Quinton de Kock

After the victory, de Kock talked about living under IPL bio-bubbles. The South African cricketers said that he trusts his doctors and feels pretty safe in the bubbles.

“To be honest, we trust in our doctors, so we are pretty safe in our bubbles. At least we feel very safe and it is quite easy.

“We still take precautions and I felt safe. I don’t know about other guys. I am speaking for myself. It is being easy to get on with the game and practice and everything,” Quinton de Kock said.

Quinton de Kock also said that it was easier to bat at Delhi than Chennai. Mumbai Indians moved to Delhi for their upcoming games in IPL 2021. Earlier, the team played 5 matches at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai where they suffered issues while batting.

“Obviously, it was a lot bit easier to bat over here. Was quite pleasant. We are just happy to win it. It feels good to score some runs again, especially in a winning cause. Yeah, genuinely with our team, we always try and get one of our top four just bat through to the last (part) of our innings.

“We did that today and obviously, the changes from Chennai to Delhi have helped a bit,” Quinton de Kock maintained.
