The South African cricketer Tahir was observing his Ramadan fast during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, but still took on the responsibility to play for his team.

Imran Tahir bowled 4 overs in the match and picked up 2 wickets while conceding just 16 runs. Imran Tahir dismissed tailenders Harshal Patel and Navdeep Saini in the match. He also showed a brilliant piece of fielding by running out Kyle Jamieson.

It was Tahir’s first game in IPL 2021 as he was benched during CSK’s previous 4 games. Chennai Super Kings managed to outplay Royal Challengers Bangalore by 69 runs in the match.

Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja emerged as the star of the CSK vs RCB game due to his brilliant all-round performance. The left-handed batsman Jadeja smashed Harshal Patel for 37 runs in the 20^th over, taking CSK’s scoreboard to a gigantic total of 191-4 batting first. Later, he scalped three wickets while bowling.
