IPL 2021: Lalit Yadav Hopes To Express His Dominating Batter Image In IPL

The Delhi Capitals all-rounder Lalit Yadav had played three games in this season and has been showing a lot of maturity despite that he is in his early days of the IPL. So far, he has played three knocks that have shown a lot of promise and one excellent bowling spell against the Mumbai Indians. He started to get better game by game and Delhi will be looking to invest in the youngster.
To the surprise, he is a completely different player in the domestic circuit, and he tonks the ball out of the ground on most occasions. He is a hard hitter of the cricket ball and has hit six sixes twice in local cricket. However, IPL is a completely different stage and he is yet to hit a six in the IPL. His 22 not out of 25 balls against Mumbai helped Delhi chase down a modest target on a tough wicket.
Lalit Yadav Confident Of Delivering In All Department
The batting all-rounder Lalit Yadav has felt his growth match my match and also has been feeling very confident in all the departments – batting, bowling, and fielding. He was delighted to be part of the team that won two out of the three games he played. He was happy to have got appreciation from the coach and the captain despite not playing great cricket.
“It’s going good. Match by match, there is improvement. As a player, I feel I am becoming confident in all departments- batting, bowling, fielding. From the team perspective, what’s good is that I have been part of a winning team in two of the three matches I played in. ” Lalit Yadav said in an interaction with TimesofIndia
“It’s a different confidence. I made my debut, played okay -not bad and nothing great. They [Pant and Ponting] praised me, so I am very confident. Coach and captain’s appreciation is helping my self-belief,” he added
Lalit Yadav Looking To Bring The ‘Six Hitter’ Image To IPL
Lalit was very keen to bring the domestic performances into play in IPL and show his prowess with the bat. He can be a fearsome finisher and he wants to dominate the game at will in the IPL in the upcoming days.
“That is one image in the domestic circuit which I would like to bring to the IPL – that I can dominate the game at will in any situation. That’s what I am trying. Let’s see how it goes.”
