SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) have won the toss against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the third match of IPL 2021 and elected to field first in Chennai. After two bolstering games of cricket in Chennai and Mumbai, the IPL 2021 caravan has now once again come back to Chennai for the third game of the tournament which will be played between SunRisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Both these sides have a plethora of quality Indian and overseas players and SRH, in particular, is stuffed with a bunch of quality overseas stars. In the IPL 2021 auction, the most notable buy from SRH was that of Afghan spinner, Mujeeb-ur-Rahman while KKR brought in the likes of Shakib-al-Hasan, Ben Cutting, and legendary Indian off-spinner, Harbhajan Singh.

SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) have won the toss against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the third match of IPL 2021 and elected to field first in Chennai. Eoin Morgan will be resuming the captaincy for KKR after being appointed as the skipper of the side mid-season in IPL 2020. David Warner, who has led SRH to an IPL title in 2016, will once again lead the Men in Orange.
All-rounder Andre Russell is back to full fitness and will certainly be available for his first game of IPL 2021. Pat Cummins, who was the most expensive buy in the IPL 2020 auction will also make it into the playing XI of KKR against SRH. From SRH, skipper David Warner and spinner Rashid Khan are sure to play their opening fixture of the tournament.

KKR Lead On A Head To Head Basis But SRH Will Start As The Favourites
KKR have a statistical advantage going into this game against SRH. Both the teams have locked horns in the IPL a total of 19 times and KKR has won 12 of those games while SRH have managed to win only 7. However, SRH will start as the strong favourites to win this game because of the depth in their batting and bowling options.
The toss will certainly be a huge factor in determining the outcome of this match as due is a certain factor in Chennai and whichever team wins the toss, will surely elect to field first.
