Rajasthan Royals (RR) have won the toss against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 7th match of IPL 2021 and elected to field first in Mumbai. After six breath-taking games of cricket, IPL 2021 journey has now come back to Mumbai where two of the most prolific teams, Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals, will lock horns against each other in a gruelling battle on Thursday.

Rajasthan Royals suffered a massive setback even before the tournament began as their star pacer, Jofra Archer, was ruled out of the first half of the tournament with an injury that he sustained in the India vs England series. After the first game of the tournament, they suffered another heavy blow when their ace all-rounder, Ben Stokes was ruled out of IPL 2021 following a broken finger in the first game.

Delhi Capitals will start as the favourites to win this match against Rajasthan Royals. Looking at the sides, it is quite certain that Delhi has got a heavier squad in terms of performance in IPL 2021. A lot will depend on the toss as all the teams in IPL 2021 will love to chase in Mumbai and hence, it might not be a surprise that the team winning the toss will opt to field first.

Rajasthan Royals will be in a dilemma after Ben Stokes’ departure. Liam Livingstone appears to be the front runner to replace Stokes in the game against Delhi but they will have to jig a lot on the batting position of some of their batsmen.
