Harshal Patel is in fine form with the ball and in such a scenario, any changes in the RCB playing XI seems a far from reality possibility. Andre Russell’s form with the bat will be a matter of concern for KKR. However, he has done well with the ball and KKR might once again go with three spinners including Harbhajan Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, and Shakib-al-Hasan.

Kolkata Knight Riders (Playing XI): Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill, Rahul Tripathi, Eoin Morgan(c), Shakib Al Hasan, Dinesh Karthik(w), Andre Russell, Pat Cummins, Harbhajan Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Varun Chakravarthy

Royal Challengers Bangalore (Playing XI): Virat Kohli(c), Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers(w), Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Kyle Jamieson, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal

RCB Start As The Favourites To Win The Game

Given the kind of form that RCB has been in, they will certainly start as the favourites to win the 10th match of IPL 2021. The pitch in Chennai has been a dead runner and run-scoring has been difficult, especially in the second innings. However, this game will be played in the afternoon and the pitch might behave differently.

A lot will once again depend on the toss. Although chasing has been a bit difficult on this venue in the last few games, the team that wins the toss might elect to bat first as dew will be negligible in the afternoon games.
