Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have won the toss against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match 19 of IPL 2021 and elected to bat first. The current table-toppers of IPL 2021, CSK and RCB, will lock horns in the first southern derby of this year’s edition of the Indian Premier League in Mumbai.

Both these teams have got off to a solid start in this year’s IPL as Chennai Super Kings have won 3 out of the four games they have played so far while RCB has emerged as the invincibles of the tournament, having 4 out of the 4 games that they have played in the tournament this year.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have won the toss against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match 19 of IPL 2021 and elected to bat first. As far as the teams are concerned, Ruturaj Gaikwad played a scintillating knock for the Men in Yellow in their last outing and so did Faf du Plessis, Both these players will certainly retain their place and open the innings for CSK in the game against RCB.

Deepak Chahar has been in exceptional form on the Mumbai turf as he has already picked a couple of four-wicket hauls in just the four matches played so far. CSK brought in Lungi Ngidi in the last game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and he will continue to retain his spot in most likeliness.

The two giant teams of Southern India go head to head in IPL 2021 for the first time at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. CSK has had an impeccable record against their rivals as both the teams have collided a total of 27 times in the IPL and CSK has won 17 of those games while RCB has managed to win just 9 games. Their one game has also ended in no-result.

However, RCB has been in glittering form this season. They have appeared as the most complete team because all their departments have clicked at the time whenever the team has needed it.
