It will be their sixth match of the IPL 2021. Delhi Capitals have already earned 8 points in this IPL season as they have won four matches and lost only once.

Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has got very limited opportunities in their first five matches of this IPL 2021. During their match against PBKS, Stoinis scored a crucial match-winning 27 not out off 13 balls. Meanwhile, he has taken only one wicket in his seven overs of this season.
Lalit Yadav didn’t play the last game while he has got very limited opportunities in his three matches of this IPL 2021. Apart from picking up one wicket in this IPL season, Lalit played two successful finishing roles for his team by scoring 12 not out and 22 not out respectively.
After recovering from COVID-19, all-rounder Axar Patel played his first match in this IPL 2021 in their last game against SRH where he was a hero for his team with the ball in hand. While he had bowling figures of 4-0-26-2 in the main match, he also bowled strongly in the Super Over to concede only seven runs. Now, he will play at the home venue Ahmedabad.
England cricketer Chris Woakes can return to the side in the upcoming match. In his first three matches of the IPL 2021, Woakes took 5 wickets in three matches. But due to the slow pitches at Chennai, Woakes was rested and Caribbean cricketer Shimron Hetmyer replaced him.
