IPL 2021: Rashid Khan Believes Abhishek Sharma Will Become A Proper All-Rounder For India In Future

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) spinner Rashid Khan believes that his teammate Abhishek Sharma will become a proper all-rounder for India in the foreseeable future. Rashid Khan was impressed by Abhishek Sharma’s bowling against Punjab Kings.
The left-arm spinner Abhishek Sharma picked two wickets in his 4 overs while conceding only 24 runs. He took crucial wickets of Deepak Hooda and Moises Henriques in the match.
Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to win their first match of IPL 2021 after defeating KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings by 9 wickets. Sunrisers Hyderabad restricted Punjab Kings to just 120 in the first innings, after bowling out all their batsmen in 19.4 overs. Later, Jonny Bairstow scored unbeaten 63 runs and David Warner hit 37 runs to bag victory for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Abhishek Sharma Has A Lot Of Ability: Rashid Khan
After the victory, Rashid Khan had a chat with teammate Abhishek Sharma. Rashid Khan told him that if he works hard, he will get success in the future.
“You will become a proper all-rounder for India in the future who will a lot of matches for his side. You have a lot of ability. If you work hard, you will get the success,” Rashid Khan told Abhishek Sharma.
Abhishek Sharma spoke about his bowling to Rashid Khan. He said that he was confident of bowling the first over for his team.
“I was practicing my bowling a lot. Suddenly, when we were in our huddle before the match against Punjab Kings, skipper David Warner told me that you are going to bowl the first over. I did not hear it nicely so confirmed it once again.
“I asked you a lot about this role, I was also confident of doing the job for our team,” Abhishek Sharma told Rashid Khan.
Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings by 9 wickets but the former ended on the winning end for the first time in 4 matches.
Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 runs. SRH also finished on the losing end against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 runs. In their 3rd match of IPL 2021 against Mumbai Indians, the David Warner-led side lost by 13 runs.
However, Sunrisers managed to end their losing streak in the match against Punjab Kings. Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently placed on the 5th spot in IPL 2021 points table with 2 points. They will next face Delhi Capitals on April 25 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
