Sanju Samson who was standing as a captain of the Rajasthan Royals for the first time in his IPL career picked up the coin for the toss and pocketed it which turned viral on social media. Rajasthan decided to let go of Steve Smith from the squad this year and subsequently, Sanju Samson was named the captain of the side.

It was not a huge surprise as the wicket-keeper batsman has been backed by the franchise for a long time and Sanju Samson has come off age to become the captain of the side. The youngster was dropped from the Indian limited-overs squad recently after some poor outings in international cricket. He will have a tough road ahead of the T20 World Cup to make a comeback.
