IPL: Batsmen With 200 IPL Sixes

On Sunday (25th April), during the 19th match of the IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) cricketer Suresh Raina became the first Indian left-handed batsman to hit 200 IPL sixes.
After CSK captain MS Dhoni won the toss in that game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai), CSK managed to score 191/4 (20 overs) while RCB replied with only 122/9 (20 overs) as CSK won that match by 69 runs. Suresh Raina came to bat at the no.3 position in that game and scored 24 runs off 18 balls with the help of only four and 3 sixes.

Before that match, Suresh Raina hit 199 IPL sixes. So, after this latest game, the left-handed batsman Raina has now hit 202 sixes in his IPL career. He became the first Indian left-handed batsman, second overall left-handed batsman, fourth Indian batsman, and seventh overall batsman to hit 200 IPL sixes.
Caribbean superstar Chris Gayle is leading the table of most IPL sixes with 354 sixes, who is also the other left-handed batsman with 200 IPL sixes.

South African cricketer AB de Villiers is in the next position in this list with 240 sixes in his IPL career.

Then three Indian cricketers are fighting to cross each other. While Rohit Sharma has smashed 222 IPL sixes, Virat Kohli has hit 217 sixes in his IPL career and MS Dhoni has managed to hit 204 IPL sixes.

Caribbean cricketer Kieron Pollard and Suresh Raina are the other remaining cricketers with 200 IPL sixes as both have hit 202 sixes each in their IPL careers.

Australian cricketer David Warner, who is also the present captain of the IPL team SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), has hit 199 sixes in his IPL career. The left-handed batsman also had a chance to complete 200 sixes in his IPL career on Sunday night during the match against Delhi Capitals (DC) but he missed out on that opportunity as he failed to hit at least one six on this night.
