Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore will lock horns in the first game of IPL 2021. The match will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals will clash on April 10, 2021, at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Chennai Super Kings vs Kings XI Punjab match in IPL 2010 was an exciting one as it ended in a tie. After batting first, Kings XI Punjab scored 136-8 in 20 overs. Yuvraj Singh scored 43 runs while Irfan Pathan contributed essential 39 runs while batting as an opener. Muttiah Muralitharan took 3 wickets while Albie Morkel grabbed 2 wickets in the match.

Batting second, CSK opener Parthiv Patel played a great knock of 57 runs and Matthew Hayden scored 33. However, other batsmen lost their wickets cheaply. On the final ball of Irfan Pathan, Ravichandran Ashwin needed to score 1 run to win the match. Chennai Super Kings scored their highest ever total in IPL 2010 in a match against Rajasthan Royals. Chennai Super Kings rocked at their home ground MA Chidambaram Stadium with 246-5 in 20 overs. Opener Murali Vijay smashed an iconic century (127) off 56 balls. Albie Morkel also played a quickfire knock of 62 off 34 balls.

Batting second, Rajasthan Royals were equally destructive in the match. Rajasthan lost their openers cheaply but Naman Ojha played a spectacular unbeaten knock of 94 runs. Shane Watson also smashed a blistering knock of 60 runs off 25 balls. Rajasthan Royals reached 223-5 in 20 overs but lost the match by 23 runs.

Rajasthan Royals vs Deccan Chargers match in IPL 2009 was a nail-biting game to watch. Rajasthan Royals were bowled out for 159 runs while batting first. Shane Watson scored a half-century (58) while Faiz Faizal hit 36 runs. Deccan Charges witnessed a great knock by opener Adam Gilchrist who scored 34 runs off 17 balls. Later, Rohit Sharma handled the team’s batting with his 73 runs.

Siddharth Trivedi was bowling the final over for Rajasthan Royals. At 157-7 in 19.2 overs, Deccan Charges needed 3 runs to win in 4 balls. However, RP Singh, Harmeet Singh, and Rohit Sharma lost their wickets in the next three deliveries. Rajasthan Royals twisted the game in their favour as Deccan Charges were bowled out at 157 with 2 runs short of victory.
