Sunrisers Hyderabad’s home game against Royal Challengers Bangalore ended in a tie. RCB batted first in the match and scored a low total of 130-8. Virat Kohli and Moises Henriques were the only players with a good knock of 46 and 44 runs respectively. The rest of the batsmen were dismissed for a single-digit score. SRH’s Ishant Sharma took 3 wickets in the match. While bowling, Royal Challengers Bangalore also performed brilliantly. Hanuma Vihari played an unbeaten 44 run-knock for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Royal Challengers Bangalore played another match with a super over in IPL 2013, which was against Delhi Daredevils. However, this time, Royal Challengers Bangalore were on the winning end. Delhi batted first and scored 152-5. Kedar Jadhav and Irfan Pathan scored 29 runs and 19 runs respectively to help Delhi cross the 150-run mark in the end.
Virat Kohli scored 65 runs and AB de Villiers scored 39 for Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB needed 2 runs off the final ball of Irfan Pathan. However, Ravi Rampaul could only sneak a single and the match went to the super over. AB de Villiers smashed 2 sixes in the super over bowled by Umesh Yadav taking RCB to 15 runs.
