Delhi Capitals lost their first game as well. They had a batting collapse of sorts in the very first game. Rishabh Pant on his return scored 18 off 13 balls. None of the top-order batters scored fifties. Abshek Porel’s late cameo of 32 off 10 balls took the Capitals to 174 which was not enough on the day. The pacers were erratic and Kuldeep Yafav’s spell of 2 for 20 was not enough.

They are now up against the Royals. The contest is pretty even with DC winning 13 of the 27 games while RR 14. The Royals won the game last year.
