IPL Points Table 2026: Updated Standings, Orange Cap, Purple Cap After SRH vs LSG Match 10

The TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, Sunday double headers first game was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad. The SRH vs LSG has ended, as LSG beat SRH by 5 wickets. Rishabh Pant won the toss and elected to field first.
LSG made one change as Anrich Nortje was dropped, with Manimaran Siddharth coming in on the side. SRH was still without their regular captain Pat Cummins and made two changes from their win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Liam Livingstone and Harshal Patel came in for David Payne and Salil Arora. In the SRH vs LSG game, Rishabh Pant's side had the best possible start with Mohammed Shami.
IPL 2026: SRH vs LSG Match Result
The veteran pacer once again showcased his experience and picked the wicket of Abhishek Sharma in his first over. In the second over, he dismissed the dangerous Travis Head. He was in full mood and sensational with the ball as he finished off the spell with 9/2 in his four overs. SRH were reduced to 31/4 after the end of 9 overs.
Ishan Kishan was dismissed for a jaffer of a delivery from Prince Yadav, and Livingstone was unlucky with the lap shot, hitting his shoulder and was caught by Rishabh Pant. Later on, Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy stitched a partnership for the fifth wicket of 116 runs. Klaasen scored his second consecutive fifty in the IPL 2026, and he was hitting the ball very hard.
Reddy also brought up his fifty in 30 balls; he was dismissed on the score of 56 runs. Soon after the wicket, Klaasen was also back after scoring 62, with Rishabh Pant taking a magnificent catch, and Harsh Dubey was also dismissed in the very next ball. SRH could only score 156/9, and the Orange Army will be very happy with the score.
Coming out to chase LSG openers, Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram had a steady start, but Marsh was dismissed by Eshan Malinga as the Aussie batter went back for the score of 14 runs. After the powerplay the Super Giants were 53/1 with Markram taking the charge after the first wicket.
Aiden Makram played an excellent innings as he scored 45 off 27 deliveries against his former franchise on a wicket that was sticking a bit. Rishabh Pant and Ayush Badoni then took charge and kept the runs going; both batters anchored the innings well. Badoni was dismissed after playing a needless shot for 12 runs.
Nicholas Pooran got out most hilariously, as he played the shot and thought the ball was past the keeper, and he left the crease with Kishan taking off the wickets. The SRH vs LSG match turned after this wicket; the captain Pant was stuck at one end and brought up his first fifty of IPL 2026 and was unbeaten with the score of 68. Though the SRH vs LSG match went down to the wire.
