In Match Number 62 of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) went head-to-head at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday, May 20.
Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bowl first in the match. Yudhvir Singh took RR off to a great start by dismissing Devon Conway, Urvil Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja early on in the innings.
Ayush Mhatre (43) and Ravichandran Ashwin (13) got out inside 8 overs, and CSK were left reeling at 78/5. Then, Dewald Brevis (42) and Shivam Dube (39) stitched up a good partnership to stabilize the innings, but MS Dhoni (16) was unable to finish the innings on a high, and CSK were restricted to 187/8.
Other than Yudhvir Singh, Akash Madhwal (3/29), Wanindu Hasaranga (1/27), and Tushar Deshpande (1/33) were among the wickets for the Rajasthan Royals.

Chasing the target, Yashasvi Jaiswal (36) took RR off to a flying start with his explosive batting. Then, Vaibhav Suryavanshi (57) and Sanju Samson (41) showcased a batting masterclass to push CSK out of the game, before Dhruv Jurel (31*) and Shimron Hetmyer (12*) provided finishing touches. Rajasthan Royals completed the run chase in 17.1 overs and won by 6 wickets.
