Sunday, May 25, was a double-header day in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. GT and CSK clashed in the afternoon game while SRH and KKR locked horns in the evening game.
The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad hosted the Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings match, and the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi hosted the Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders clash.

In the first game, Chennai Super Kings opted to bat first after winning the toss and produced their best-ever performance in the Indian Premier League 2025.
Dewald Brevis (57) and Devon Conway (52) were the two batters, who hit a half-century, while Ayush Mhatre (34), Urvil Patel (37), Shivam Dube (17), and Ravindra Jadeja (21) made amazing contributions to steer CSK to a gigantic score of 230/5 on the board.
For GT, Prasidh Krishna bowled an exceptional spell of 2/22 but didn't receive any support from other bowlers, who were quite expensive.
Defending the total, Chennai Super Kings bowlers were breathing fire, and they didn't allow the top three of GT to fire. As the match progressed, CSK's dominance increased, and they bowled out GT for 147 in 18.3 overs to register a dominant 83-run win.
Noor Ahmad and Anshul Kamboj bagged three wickets each for the Chennai Super Kings. Ravindra Jadeja got two wickets while Khaleel Ahmed and Matheesha Pathirana bagged one wicket each.
In the second match, the Sunrisers Hyderabad flexed their batting muscles and posted a colossal total of 278/3 on the board, thanks to Heinrich Klaasen (105*), Travis Head (76), Abhishek Sharma (32), Ishan Kishan (29), and Aniket Verma (12).
Defending the total, SRH picked up early wickets and reduced KKR to 70/5. They kept bowling brilliantly and bowled out KKR for 168 in 18.4 overs to bag a dominant 110-run win. Jaydev Unadkat, Eshan Malinga, and Harsh Dubey bagged three wickets each for SRH.

Before the match on Sunday, the Gujarat Titans were at the No.1 position on the points table with 9 wins in 13 matches and a Net Run Rate of 0.602, while Chennai Super Kings were at the very bottom with 3 wins in 13 games and a Net Run Rate of -1.030.
Also, the Sunrisers Hyderabad were in the eighth position with 11 points in 13 matches and a Net Run Rate of -0.737, while Kolkata Knight Riders were in the seventh spot with 12 points in 13 matches and a Net Run Rate of 0.193.
