On Tuesday, May 27, the final league stage match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 was played in which the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) went head-to-head with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and elected to bowl first. The decision didn't prove good for the side as the Lucknow Super Giants piled up a colossal score of 227/3, riding on a sensational century from Rishabh Pant (118*) and a stellar fifty from Mitchell Marsh (67).

Chasing the target, Virat Kohli hit a good fifty, and Phil Salt contributed a quickfire 30 runs. Although Rajat Patidar failed, Jitesh Sharma played an outrageous knock of 85* runs, and Mayank Agarwal blasted 41 runs to steer RCB to a 6-wicket win in 18.4 overs.
