Delhi Capitals (DC) won the toss and elected to bowl first in the IPL 2025 match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, May 24.

They were unable to make the most of the toss decision as the Punjab Kings batters showcased a good performance and powered their team to a colossal score of 206/8.
Shreyas Iyer once again played a brilliant innings and led PBKS from the front with his knock of 53 runs. Marcus Stoinis (44* off 16), Josh Inglis (32 off 12), and Prabhsimran Singh (28 off 18) supported their skipper very well by playing excellent innings.
In the bowling department for the Delhi Capitals, Mustafizur Rahman (3/33), Vipraj Nigam (2/38), Kuldeep Yadav (2/39), and Mukesh Kumar (1/49) were among the wickets.
Chasing the target, Faf du Plessis (23) and KL Rahul (35) provided the Delhi Capitals with a good start, while Karun Nair (44) and Sediqullah Atal (22) played brilliant innings to keep their side in the hunt.
The best innings, meanwhile, came from Sameer Rizvi's bat, who hit his maiden half-century in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He remained unbeaten till the end with 58 runs in his bag and finished off the match with a six to help DC win the match by 6 wickets and three balls to spare.
