Delhi Capitals will kick off their IPL 2025 campaign against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 24 at the ACA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
Ahead of the IPL 2025 season opener between RCB and KKR on March 22 in Kolkata, Irfan Pathan claimed that Delhi Capitals is one of the most balanced and strong teams in this tournament. The cricket pundit also pointed out that they have explosive batters at the top, top-quality spinners, and dependable death-over bowlers—all these elements are needed for success.

Delhi’s pace attack features Australian pacer Mitchell Starc along with the Indian stars T. Natarajan, Mukesh Kumar, Dushmantha Chameera, and Mohit Sharma.
