Jasprit Bumrah is back with a fiery spell in the post-lunch session. He is posing a real threat to the West Indies tailenders. Skipper Shubman Gill has handed Kuldeep Yadav the ball from the other end, who is just a wicket away from getting to his 5-fer.
While the Indians have dominated the Windies in the second Test as well, the bowlers have toiled harder as compared to the earlier Test at Ahmedabad. The Windies batters have managed to bat across 80+ overs in the first innings and have also produced their best innings total for the series.
Kuldeep Yadav has been the star of the first session of Day 3's play, as the Indian chinaman picked 3 wickets this morning, which included the big wickets of Shai Hope, Tevin Imlach, and lastly Justin Greaves. Mohammed Siraj had sent back Jomel Warrican as his first wicket in the match.

Seasoned Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has bowled a lot more overs in this match, with fewer overs from Mohammed Siraj. Siraj picked 7 wickets in the previous game and is so far the joint-highest wicket-taker in this series with 8 wickets to his name.
Another bowler who shares the wicket tally with Siraj is the spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who made his much-awaited return to the longest format of the game. Having picked up 4 wickets already, Kuldeep has been eyeing his fourth for a long time.
Handed the ball from the other end alongside Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep has received no support from the legendary pacer. Bumrah picked the wicket of Khary Pierre with a stunning reverse swinging delivery right on the money.
He then kept targeting the stumps, bowling some crashing yorkers, while Kuldeep too kept trying from the other end. Unlike his antics in the first Test, Bumrah didn't look to budge an inch from his desperate attempt to get another wicket alongside his name, without showing any concern for Kuldeep's five-wicket haul.
Bumrah tried and helped Siraj reach a 5-fer in the First Test
However, the same Jasprit Bumrah was relentlessly looking to help Mohammed Siraj by not delivering his very best when Siraj needed a wicket to complete his five-for during the first West Indian innings.
Jasprit Bumrah rushed in with the ball but ended up bowling a slower ball outside off to Jayden Seales, followed by another slower delivery outside off in the second-to-last ball, and then finished the over with another ball outside the off-stump line.
It seemed as if Jasprit Bumrah bowled these last 3 balls outside off purposely to hand an opportunity to Mohammed Siraj, who was then on the cusp of a fifer.
Kuldeep Yadav was earlier denied his 5-fer by Dhruv Jurel
Kuldeep Yadav ultimately got to his five-fer with the wicket of Jayden Seales in the 82nd over of the game, as the West Indies were bowled out for just 248 runs in the first innings. He was trapped LBW right in front of the wickets; the Hawk-Eye confirmed with three reds, and Kuldeep earned the long-awaited breakthrough.
This breakthrough could have been attained long back, had the wicket-keeper not missed a catching chance of Kuldeep's bowling earlier. With Yadav tossing up a googly, it took a faint edge off Anderson Phillip's gloves, but Jurel, unaware of the direction of the ball, failed to grab it just in time.
The left-arm spinner was then seen fuming at the wicket-keeper; however, in an interesting feat, he has picked all four wickets today, without any support from the fielders.
