"Just A Show Off" Ravindra Jadeja Thrashes KKR Following Their Dig At MS Dhoni
Team India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, shot back at Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) who took a shot at the skipper, MS Dhoni while praising Test cricket.
Following the conclusion of Day 5 in the SCG Test between Australia and England, people took to Twitter to express their love and interest for the longest format.
The match ended in a thrilling draw with England managing to play out 102 overs to survive with just one wicket remaining. Stalwarts, Stuart Broad and James Anderson survived the last three overs where Australia had all their fielders hanging around the batter.
Tweeting a picture of that, KKR took a jab at Dhoni, who was also in a similar situation back when Gautam Gambhir was captaining KKR. In response, Jadeja wrote: “Its not a master stroke! Just a show off.”
Here’s Ravindra Jadeja’s tweet in response to KKR’s post:

Back in 2016 & 2017, CSK was banned following which Dhoni was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) in the auction. He played a couple of seasons for them but the franchise wasn’t nearly as successful as CSK.
Following the return of Chennai in the next season, Dhoni returned and led the side to the title in 2018. He retired from international cricket in August 2020 but continued playing franchise cricket. Dhoni and co. also pocketed the IPL 2021 title which was their fourth in IPL history.
Ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction, CSK has retained Jadeja, Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Moeen Ali.
