"Karlo entertainment..." - Virender Sehwag brutally trolls England for holding No.8 spot in WTC Points Table

Former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag, who was a key part in the Indian team’s success during the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 and the Cricket World Cup 2011, took a brutal and hilarious dig at the Ben Stokes-led England team that lost the 4th Test against Rohit Sharma’s men in Ranchi by 5-wickets and are currently placed at 8th spot in the World Test Championship points table 2023-25.
The 4th Test was England’s final shot at being alive in the series in which the hosts had already claimed a 2-1 lead in the Vizag and Rajkot Test after losing the 1st Test by 28 runs in Hyderabad. All the flair and hype that England’s Bazballers brought with them, will go back to the UK as it came. And Virender Sehwag’s latest Tweet pointed out just that.
Virender Sehwag Tweets After England’s loss
Karlo Entertainment ,
England.
Jeet jaisi boring cheez Bharat, Australia, New Zealand kar lenge . pic.twitter.com/srREBULvXl— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) February 26, 2024
The former right-hand batter, who played his own Bazball during his time as a player, asked the English team to continue playing in their entertaining style of play instead of actually posing threats and winning matches. Sehwag’s tweet was a direct hit at the Brendon McCullum-led team management, which is more fond of entertainment than winning, something Sehwag asked teams like Australia, India, and New Zealand to do.
Shame for England that they could not beat an Indian team without some of its key players
Yes, an absolute shame for a team that considers itself as the differentiator and as the one to bring innovation into Test cricket. Well, it has never been about innovation has it? It has always been about winning and landing those silverware. And even if India chokes during ICC knockout matches, they certainly do not choke in terms of winning back-to-back bilateral series’, something an underachieving England team could only dream of.
Nonetheless, hope everyone in the Barmy Army, the best fan base in the world, enjoys Indian cuisine and enjoys themselves on their next trip to Dharamshala where the 5th Test match begins from 7th March onwards.
