Keshav Maharaj goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

Keshav Maharaj has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 75 lakh. A left-arm spinner, the South Africa star played for Rajasthan Royals in the last edition of the IPL.

While Keshav had registered himself for the 2024 auction, he went unsold. Later, Rajasthan Royals signed him up as a replacement for Prasidh Krishna. He finally made his IPL debut in 2024 and played two games in his first season. He picked up 2 wickets in his first-ever IPL season.

Maharaj has been playing T20 cricket across the world. He has played in several leagues such as the Caribbean Premier League, SA20, Bangladesh Premier League, and the T20 Blast.

Overall, he has played 181 T20s and picked up 154 wickets while having an economy rate of less than 7. In international cricket, Maharaj has played 39 T20Is for South Africa and picked up 38 wickets.
