Virat Kohli lost his cool and was involved in a heated exchange with the on-field umpires after his contentious dismissal in the ongoing game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

The former RCB skipper came out all guns blazing and raced away to 18 runs off just 6 balls. He hit Harshit Rana for a six and a four in the very first over to get going. In the second over, he hit Mitchell Starc for a six. However, he could not convert his start into a big score as Harshit Rana sent him back on the very first ball of the third over.

The right-arm pacer bowled a high full-toss and Virat Kohli ended up offering an easy catch back to the pacer. It was an easy catch and Harshit Rana made no mistake in catching the ball. The on-field umpire raised his finger but Virat Kohli reviewed it immediately as he was sure that the ball was over his waistline and was a no-ball.

However, it was a slower delivery from the KKR pacer and was dipping. The replays showed that the ball would have been below Virat Kohli's waist had he been in his normal stance. The right-handed batsman was also batting outside the crease. As a result, the third umpire asked the on-field umpire to stick with his original decision.

The former India skipper was furious with the decision and decided to give a piece of his mind to the umpire. He was seen having a heated discussion with the umpire before walking off the field shaking his head in disappointment.
