KKR vs SRH: Watch - Gautam Gambhir, Sunil Narine full of smiles; KKR players go berserk with wild celebrations after IPL 2024 triumph

Gautam Gambhir's KKR finally won their third IPL title as they beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets in the final on Sunday. KKR completed the chase in 10.3 overs with Ventakesh Iyer (52*) and RahmanUllah Gurbaz (39) setting up the chase for the side.

The final turned out to be a one-sided affair with KKR bowling out SRH for just 113 and then cantering through to the chase inside 11 overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad in the end were a no-show for KKR who were absolutely terrific throughout the tournament.

Everything clicked for KKR in the final with their bowlers getting wickets to their batters scoring the runs. Gautam Gambhir was crucial to KKR's success with all the planning and backing of the players to execute their skills. It was only fair that at the end of the win, he was finally seen smiling.

The only survivor of KKR's previous two IPL titles Sunil Narine was seen picking up Gautam Gambhir and the mentor in return hugging him with a sense of satisfaction. KKR players also pulled off wild celebrations after the triumph.

Videos of Shahrukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan celebrating also went viral as well. The KKR mentor was a big giver of love and support to the players throughout the IPL 2024. Throughout the season he has spoken highly of the players and backed them to the hilt as well.

The KKR bowlers were the most successful throughout the season with Varun Chakravarthy picking 21 wickets, the most by a KKR bowler. Russell and Rana with 19 wickets each and Starc and Narine with 17 each. Vaibhav Arora also took 11 wickets in the season.

KKR Players Share Their Joy After Third IPL title win

After winning the IPL final, several of the KKR players shared their excitement of winning an IPL final. There were several players who were playing their first IPL final for KKR and could not hold back their excitement. This is what the players told after KKR won the match.

Vaibhav Arora: My role is to take wickets with the new ball, we have very good spinners, so if we chipped in with 2-3 wickets, the spinners will do the rest.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi: The feeling hasn't sunk in and might do when we party tonight.

Nitish Rana: When GG bhai was appointed as the mentor I had messaged him and said I am very happy he's coming back to KKR, but he said that he would be happy if we are on that podium lifting the trophy.

Ramandeep Singh: It has been hard and we will celebrate now. The environment has been amazing and we gelled well together.

Venkatesh Iyer: Really happy, credit goes to Abhishek Nayar, all the credit in the world, the way he's worked for the franchise. he was the one who built this Indian core. We waited for 10 years, credit to the management and the coaching staff.

Varun Chakaravarthy: This has been a great season for me. All I can think of now is the person who has built the Indian core - Abhishek Nayar
