KKR vs SRH: Watch - KL Rahul, Justin Langer and other LSG stars predict IPL 2024 champions

Lucknow Super Giants predicted the winners of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The final of the 17th edition of the league will take place between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday (26th May) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. 

After  73 games of endless entertainment and high-quality cricket, it's time for one final show. We have got the two finalists of the league and it's fair to say that the two best teams in the tournament will be taking on each other in the final. Both KKR and SRH finished the league stage at 1 and 2 respectively. 

Talking about the Kolkata Knight Riders, they have hardly put a foot wrong in the ongoing IPL 2024. Right from the beginning they have been at the top and lost just three games in the league stage, which speaks a lot about their dominating performances in the league stage. 

Under the mentorship of Gautam Gambhir and the leadership of Shreyas Iyer, Kolkata Knight Riders, who struggled to get going in the last few seasons, became the first team to qualify for the playoffs and they did it with some style while others were fighting for the spot. 

Sunrisers Hyderabad on the other hand showed the other teams how to take the batting to a different level in the league. Their openers at the top Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma revolutionized the batting in the ongoing season and helped teams post gigantic totals on the board throughout the season. 

Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad played each other in the Qualifier 1 of the tournament at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad. It saw the Shreyas Iyer-led side winning the game by the massive margin of 8 wickets and dominating the Orange Army with both bat and ball. 

But the Pat Cummins-led side made a sensational comeback and thumped Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs in Qualifier 2 and entered the final of the tournament. This is the first time they reached the final of the tournament since 2018 when they faced a disappointing loss against Chennai Super Kings.

With the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 final just around the corner, Lucknow Super Giants team players predicted the winner of the tournament. Skipper KL Rahul backed Kolkata Knight Riders to win the game tournament because according to him the Shreayas Iyer-led side has been the gun team in the tournament. 

Nicholas Pooran, Mohsin Khan, and Ayush Badoni also backed Kolkata Knight Riders to win because they feel that they have all the bases covered and their players in form too, which makes them the favorite to win the IPL 2024. 

Justin Langer backed Sunrisers Hyderabad to win because he believes Pat Cummins will be doing a brilliant job. He stated: 

"There's lot of talk about Pat Cummins coming with so much money in the mini-auction but you bring Pat Cummins who can captain the franchise, he is an outstanding person, an outstanding captain and then you know Travis Head in there with him and some of the talent and Bhuvi upfront again."
