KL Rahul has not played since the Indian Premier League (IPL) of 2022 when he guided the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to the playoffs in their inaugural campaign in the richest cricket league in the world.
With the T20 World Cup just four months away and the rest of the world busy figuring out their lineups, India is starting a new season without their best players due to their rigorous and cramped schedule.

While injuries are unavoidable in sports, the Indian team strives to provide their players with the best medical care possible to keep them available for the majority of the competition. However, due to fitness/injury concerns, some superstar players have yet to be cleared to compete.
1-Deepak Chahar:
According to Cricbuzz, Deepak Chahar’s back issue has forced him to withdraw from the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2022.

Chahar, who was receiving treatment at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for a quadriceps injury acquired during the third T20I match against the West Indies in February, injured his back while receiving treatment. This prevented him from participating in the latest IPL 2022.
2-Arshdeep Singh:
Arshdeep Singh has been ruled out of the first One-Day International against England on Tuesday due to an abdominal strain.
The 23-year-old left-arm pacer, who has yet to make his ODI debut for India, has been ruled out of the first match against England due to an abdominal strain.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Tuesday (July 12) that Arshdeep was unavailable for selection alongside Virat Kohli (groin??injury) due to an abdominal strain.
3-Kuldeep Yadav:
Following a hand injury that prevented him from playing in the South Africa series, Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has started his recovery at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Kuldeep was excluded from the five-match T20I series against South Africa at home earlier this month, along with batter KL Rahul.
4- KL Rahul:
According to ESPNcricinfo, KL Rahul underwent surgery for a sports hernia on Wednesday in Germany. Rahul has been out from competitive cricket since the end of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 because of a groin issue.

KL Rahul will thereafter receive the required treatment and rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru for a few weeks.
