Kumar Kartikeya Bought By Rajasthan Royals For INR 30 lakh at IPL Auction 2025

Kumar Kartikeya has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. The 26-year-old is a left-arm spinner and represents Madhya Pradesh in domestic cricket.

He has played 37 first-class games, 31 List-A games, and 31 T20s so far. In first-class cricket, Kumar has taken an impressive 164 wickets with the help of 9 five-wicket hauls while in List A cricket, he has 37 wickets. In T20s, he has picked up 32 wickets while maintaining a fine economy rate of 7.01.

In the IPL, Kartikeya has played for only one team so far - Mumbai Indians. He made his IPL debut in 2022. In his first season, he played 4 games and picked up 5 wickets with an economy rate of less than 8. In IPL 2023, Kumar claimed 5 wickets from 8 games.
