Rising Mumbai Indians’ star Ishan Kishan has been on the up ever since lighting up the Indian Premier League (IPL) with his pyrotechnics. He got a chance to play for India in the T20I series earlier this year against touring England and made the most of it with a blistering fifty on debut.
His stocks have risen since that performance and he is now in contention for a spot in the Indian squad for the 2021 T20 World Cup. Although he isn’t guaranteed a spot in the playing XI, earning a place in the squad will be a big achievement going forward for the youngster.
Recently, he joined hands with RISE Worldwide for global management and marketing representation. Speaking on the occasion, Kishan was joyous about his journey in the last couple of years.
“Last couple of years has been an incredible journey for me personally, both as a cricketer and an individual. As I now make the transition to international cricket, I am happy to have the team at RISE Worldwide support me off the field,” he said.
Ishan Kishan joins seven other cricketers in the RISE Worldwide roster
Following the signing, Ishan joins few other cricket players in the already star-studded roster of RISE Worldwide, viz. Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan, Suryakumar Yadav, Krunal Pandya, and Shreyas Iyer.
The Head of Sponsorship Sales and Talent Division for RISE Worldwide, Nikhil Bardia, was excited about the addition of MI’s Ishan Kishan. The firm will work with the youngster to provide extensive resources in career management and help generate value in all aspects of his career.
“This is a challenging yet exciting era to grow our talent management division and we are delighted to welcome Ishan Kishan to our world-class talent roster at RISE Worldwide. We now have an 8-member strong talent representation, with two of the most dynamic current cricketers, Suryakumar Yadav and now Ishan on-board with us.”
“Since 2016, we have provided representation and management to our athletes and we believe in working with our clients and partners to bring unmatched experiences,” Nikhil mentioned.
Ishan Kishan will next be seen playing for Mumbai Indians in the second phase of the IPL 2021 which will get underway in the UAE. The first match will see the defending champions go up against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings on September 19.
