Looking Forward To Playing For Our Country - Sachin Tendulkar Prepares For His Return On The Field In The Road Safety World Series T20 2020-21

Former India opener, Sachin Tendulkar will make his return to the cricket stadium when he will lead the India Legends team in the Road Safety World Series T20 tournament on Friday at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur.
The tournament which comprises former legends of the game will resume on March 5th – last year the competition was postponed after 4 matches due to the covid-19 pandemic.
The inaugural edition of the competition will resume with hosts India Legends taking on Bangladesh Legends. Other teams in the tournament are Sri Lanka Legends, South Africa Legends, West Indies Legends, and England Legends. Australia Legends, led by Brett Lee last year, is been replaced by England and Bangladesh.
The top 4 teams will play in the semi-finals and the winners of that will meet in the final on March 21st.

Sachin Tendulkar will continue to captain the Indian team in this specific competition – India won their first couple of matches in the tournament last year and sit at the top of the table. The batting maestro will reunite with his former teammates, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Yusuf Pathan, and several others.
Tendulkar, who is still the leading run-scorer in international cricket with over 34000 runs, scored 36 and 0 in the two innings he played in the tournament last year.
