Former Pakistan National Cricket Team skipper Imran Khan lashed out at the Shan Masood-led side for the defeat in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh National Cricket Team. He said that it was the lowest point in their cricketing history and nobody would question the chairman of the board.

Pakistan National Cricket Team have faced a lot of criticism of late for their poor performances and it got even worse after their recent outings in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh National Cricket Team. In what was a humiliating defeat, the hosts faced a 2-0 whitewash.

Ahead of the series, it was expected that the Pakistan National Cricket Team would give their fans something to cheer about and win the series. But despite being the favorites and in the home conditions, they failed to win and also lost points in the World Test Championship points table.

The hosts were in the winning positions in both the games but they went on to lose the games which was a surprise for many. In the first match, they had a decent outing with the bat and after scoring 448 runs, they declared the innings in the hope of getting the opposition out early.

But it turned around to be a poor decision Bangladesh went on to take a lead of over 100 runs. If this was not enough, they then got all out for a low total, setting just a target of 30 runs, which the opposition chased by 10 wickets to go 1-0 up in the series.

With the team 1-0 down, it was expected that the home team would come up with batter performances. However, it wasn't the case as after being put into bat first they got all out for 274 runs. But they were right on the money with the ball and almost sealed the game in the first innings.

The hosts left Bangladesh tottering at 26/6 and it seemed that it would be only a matter of time. But they failed to take the wickets of Litton Das (138) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (78), who made vital contributions and took the Team close to the opposition's total.

Shan Masood-led side then displayed a poor performance with the bat as they got all out for 172 runs, setting the target of just 185 runs to chase. Bangladesh had a decent outing with the bat as batters contributed to help the team register the 6-wicket win and win their first-ever series win over the opposition.
