Harshit Rana came up with an interesting celebration after dismissing KL Rahul during the game between Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders in Lucknow.
The right-arm pacer had missed KKR's last game against Mumbai Indians due to a suspension. He was fined 100% of his match fee and suspended for a game, for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during his team's match against Delhi Capitals last week.
While the IPL did not disclose the reason for fining and suspending Harshit Rana, he could have been punished for the send-off he gave to DC batsman Abishek Porel. After dismissing him in the seventh over, Harshit Rana had told the batter to walk back to the dressing room with a hand gesture. It was his second offense of the season. Earlier, he was fined 60% of his match fee for giving a send-off to Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Mayank Agarwal at the Eden Gardens.
Harshit Rana's celebration after dismissing KL Rahul:
All eyes were on Harshit as he returned to action on Sunday (May 5) for the game against LSG. He bowled a fine first over, conceding just eight runs in the final over of the powerplay. In his second over, he picked up the big wicket of KL Rahul to give KKR a crucial breakthrough.
And as soon as he dismissed Rahul, the 22-year-old decided to celebrate it in a muted fashion. While he did not give Rahul a send-off, he decided to take a dig at the IPL officials by coming up with the 'shush' celebration as he put his finger to his lips.

Talking about the game, LSG were on 85 for 4 in the tenth over at the time of writing this report. Earlier in the game, KKR piled up a huge total of 235 for 6 in the allotted 20 overs after being asked to bat first. KKR became the first team to touch the 200-run mark at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. Sunil Narine starred with the bat for KKR, scoring 81 off just 39 balls to lay the foundation for the big total.
