Manoj Tiwary Opens Up About His Celebration After Hitting A Century In The Semis Of The Ranji Trophy

Manoj Tiwary, a right-handed batter, has been a long-serving member of the Bengal cricket team, but his ambition of winning the Ranji Trophy was dashed this year when the Abhimanyu Easwaran-led side was defeated by Madhya Pradesh in the semi-finals. Tiwary’s tenacity, on the other hand, shone through in the quarterfinals against Jharkhand and again in the first innings of the semi-finals against Madhya Pradesh.
It’s cricket in the morning and paperwork in the evening for West Bengal Minister Manoj Tiwary. It’s worth noting that Tiwary is a sitting MLA for the Trinamool Congress from West Bengal’s Shibpur constituency, as well as the state’s Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports and that he also plays professional cricket.

The Letter Was Meant To Be An Acknowledgement For My Family: Manoj Tiwary
Tiwary recently celebrated in style by displaying a handwritten note for his family after scoring a century against Madhya Pradesh in the first innings of the Ranji Trophy semi-final. When asked about it, he told NDTV, “I have come to know that it has gone viral on social media (laughs). The mindset was, in life, our wives do so much for us and they make so many sacrifices, we always tend to take it for granted. It is human nature, but this should not be the case.”

“It was an expression of love towards my wife. I am a cricketer and I am in politics as well. She is taking care of the household; I have a child as well who is just 4 years old. She is taking care of everything. It is a thankless job, I felt that I should express it, generally, I do not do these kinds of celebrations on the field but I just felt that I should show the world how much I love her.”
Bengal lost to MP in the SF and crashed out of the Ranji Trophy.
