South African spinners started getting a remarkable amount of spin whenever they bowled slower through the air. Harmer too landed the ball outside off-stump, slower through the air, and Jaiswal stepped back deep into his crease, trying to rock it back through the cover region.
However, the ball almost hung in the air and took a thick outside edge, and Marco Jansen took a sharp, low catch, diving forward from the point region. Jaiswal's fine innings came to an end with India trailing by more than 394 runs.
