Australia’s head coach, Justin Langer has made it clear that the Australian batsman Marcus Harris will open the innings alongside David Warner if opener Will Pucovski fails to make it into the Australian side for the fourth Test. Notably, Will Pucovski made his Test debut for Australia in the Sydney Test.
The right-hander was up for the grabs in the first innings itself as he smashed a scintillating half-century in the first innings. However, in the second innings, Mohammed Siraj got the better of him. The young prodigal opener suffered a shoulder injury as he attempted a dive on the field during the Sydney Test.

“Will had a sore shoulder before he fell, he was actually going to have a scan after that day’s play anyway, just to see what was happening,” Langer said at a virtual press conference.
“We will see how he pulls up today, we are really hopeful that he will get up and if he doesn’t, then the obvious thing would be Marcus Harris would come in as an opener,” he added.
Team India To Take On Australia In The Final Test At Brisbane
The Indian Cricket Team is now all set to take on Australia in the final Test of the series at Brisbane from January 15. The first Test was won by Australia in Adelaide while India came to bounce back and level the series in the second Test at Melbourne. The third Test at Sydney ended in a draw after a valiant effort from the Indian batsmen helped them salvage a draw in the game.
The India National Cricket Team is dealing with a lot of injuries as their star men have been ruled out including Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Hanuma Vihari. If team India manages to pull off a win or a draw in the final Test, it will be none short of an achievement.
