Former England National Cricket Team cricketer Michael Vaughan came up with a cheeky jibe at the India National Cricket Team after their heroics with the bat. This comes after the Rohit Sharma-led did carnage with the bat during the ongoing second Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team.

As Dinesh Karthik said on air, "We are witnessing Test cricket on steroids", India National Cricket Team batters were all over the Bangladesh bowlers. This came as the hosts looked keen to produce a result after the first three days of the game were almost washed out due to the rain.

After ending Bangladesh's innings on 233 runs, Rohit Sharma and his team were on the mission. They had already made up their mind that they would be playing the T20 brand of cricket in the whites. This message was sent out loud when Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed three boundaries in the first over, and Rohit Sharma stepped out on the first ball to hit it for a massive six.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma went berserk right from the start and showed no respect for the new ball. While the team skipper was back in the hut after scoring 23 off 11 balls, Jaiswal ended with 72 runs off 52 balls as the team was off to a flyer.

Their rollicking partnership saw the hosts getting out to the 50-run mark in just 3 overs. This also saw them registering the world record as it was the fastest half-century by any team in the history of the longest format of the game. Even after their partnership, the carnage didn't stop as batters went all guns blazing.

Shubman Gill, at No.3, held the one end and played a vital innings of 39 runs. But the main men were Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. The duo ensured that they scored quick runs in the middle and helped the team team a first innings lead at Green Park in Kanpur.

Rahul slammed a magnificent half-century and ended with 68 runs off 43 balls. While Virat Kohli, on the other hand, ended with 47 runs off 35 balls. Based on the vital effort with the bat and blows by Akash Deep in the end, India posted a total of 285 runs on the board, taking a lead of 52 runs.

Not only the fastest fifty, but they also registered the fastest-ever century in the history of Test cricket. They brought up a century in 10.1 overs and surpassed their own record. They had registered 100 in 12.2 overs during the game against West Indies in 2023.

I see India are playing Bazball - Michael Vaughan on India

As Rohit and his team played with an aggressive mindset, Former England National Cricket Team cricketer Michael Vaughan was in awe of the they played. He compared their style of play with Bazball and said: "I see India are playing Bazball."

After taking the lead of 52 runs, they ensured that they picked up two wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin bagged both of them as Bangladesh ended the Day 4 on 26/2.
