Cricket continues in the US through MLC 2024 after the T20 World Cup 2024. After T20 World Cup matches in New York and Dallas, Dallas, and Morrisville are set to host the matches.

The San Francisco Unicorns will take on the Los Angeles Knight Riders in their first-season match. This is the season for the LAKR who defeated the Texas Super Kings in their opening match of the campaign.

MI New York is the defending champion of the tournament. The MLC is into its second season with The MI New York being the defending champions. They won last year by beating the Seatle Orcas in the final by 7 wickets. The Knight Riders, MI New York, and Super Kings sides in the MLC are owned by IPL franchises. They have played their part in taking the franchises global.

The Knight Riders defeated the Super Kings by 12 runs in their first match of the campaign. LAKR scored 162 on the back of a superb knock from Unmukt Chand who scored 68 from 45 balls at a strike rate of over 150. Contributions from the middle and the lower order took them to that score.

Ali Khan then worked his magic with the ball as he took 4/33 to down the Super Kings side. Spender Johnson took teo while Shakib Al Hasan and Sunil Narine, the skipper took one each. They look like a very competent side and will head into their match against the San Francisco side with confidence.

There will be no live telecast of MLC 2024 games on television in India. However, the live streaming will be available on Jio Cinema owned by the Viacom 18 group.

There is no official broadcaster of the tournament in India as said earlier. The matches will be live-streamed on the Jio Cinema app. Due to differences in time zones between India and the USA, the IST timings for the matches are on the following day i.e. after midnight.
