India National Cricket Team pacer Mohammed Shami named his favorite fast bowlers. The premier pacer named former Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer Waqar Younis and former South African National Cricket Team speedster Dale Steyn as his favorites.

Mohammed Shami arguably is one of the best fast bowlers that the India National Cricket Team has produced. The fast bowler has made a huge impact for the team in all three formats and is currently rated among the top pacers going around in the world cricket across red-ball and white-ball cricket.

Mohammed Shami has been making a consistent impact for the India National Cricket Team ever since he made his debut for the team. The fast bowler has thrived under pressure for the team and has been contributing immensely well to the team in the big tournaments.

In the last few ICC events, Mohammed Shami has been nothing short of exceptional. His best performance came in the recently concluded ICC World Cup 2023, where he came up with his best and helped India reach the final of the tournament without losing a single game.

Mohammed Shami missed the first few games due to team combination. But once he came into the team, he changed the entire complexion of the team. The fast bowler picked a plethora of wickets and helped the India National Cricket Team win the games single-handedly and in a dominating way.

Even though Shami was injured, he gave his best for the team. The fast bowler had pain in his ankle but decided to play even if he was in discomfort. He took injections and painkillers and ended up as the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 24 wickets to his name.

Since then Mohammed Shami has been out of action. The pacer underwent surgery and has been undergoing rehabilitation. The fast bowler has resumed bowling in the nets and soon will be back in the action for the India National Cricket Team.

Shami reportedly will be making his comeback in the Ranji Trophy 2025 for his state team Bengal. He has been included in the 31-member probables for the Bengal squad. The reports claimed that he might play two games before getting back Indian team.
