Meanwhile, Rauf will be playing for Yorkshire in the 2022 county season. He will join the club, which has associated itself with the PSL franchise, Lahore Qalandars, in a player exchange system. Harry Brook will be the player from Yorkshire to play for Qalandars.
Speaking about his signing, interim managing director of cricket at the county, Darren Gough said: “I am thrilled to welcome the exceptionally talented Haris Rauf to our club. I am also excited by the opportunity to learn from the inspirational players’ development program.“
Rauf has played 34 T20Is for Pakistan and has taken 41 wickets at an average of 24.60. The 28-year-old is yet to make his debut for the national team in the longest format of the game.
